Try to help your friends that you've collected through the game. You just go on missions and kill everyone you see, or run for your life. There are no other options. It's quite hilarious! Forget about a story line, there isn't one. You can watch an enemy look and fire in the opposite direction from you but you will still get hit. The enemy can see through dense foliage, walls and rocks. Shoot someone from a distance and the enemy knows exactly where you are. Everyone knows what you did and where you are. You spend time sneaking up on your target then kill him with a silenced weapon or your machete but be ready for instant mayhem. The enemy has x-ray vision making any kind of stealth play impossible. But the graphics is the end of the good points. The muted washed-out color tones sets a kind of depressing mood, probably what the developers wanted. Plot was not well done to overcome keep the player engaged and cover the point that the frequent respawns really made you feel that no progress was actually made. Jumping was an issue because you seemed to stick or get repelled by objects too easily. Otherwise it should go the way of ArmA, 2 hits and you're dead. Some have mentioned that 'you' could take a lot of hits before going down so why shouldn't the enemy, but it's because it's 'you' vs the whole Africa that's why FPS are normally easier on the player. Firing longer bursts resulted in excessive recoil. Enemies took a lot of bullets to finish off and firing in short bursts, for some reasons, didn't seem to count as a 'hit' with the game. As mentioned previously, the quick respawns made it difficult and frustrating to move from A to B and back to A since most missions made you move to the other end of the map. The major issue with this game for me was 1) the quick respawn, 2) hit-detection, 3) mission manager, and 4) storyline. All parts of the map are enjoyable although not defined properly. This game has a great sequel and a greater sequel of a sequel, but they're all missing aspects that this game alone has adopted: partners to save you before you die on the battlefield, a world you can truly explore without limit, all missions are main missions which means you can truly choose what to do first and second. although I'll agree sometimes the voice acting is too dull. Unlike Far Cry 3, not all the villagers are dumbass sheep, they know what's happening. The characters speak all in a very serious voice, as if the world has shaped them into becoming this more psychopathic person. Everything from this game is colored in a way that can only speak realism and immersive. Cars are easy to use BECAUSE of the simplicity the original Far Cry style.
